A timber-frame structure originally designed to shelter a wall tent through harsh winters at Valhalla, built to handle heavy snow and rain and protect from falling branches.
Inspired by the Valhalla Merch Store pavilion, the design features overlapping joinery, scissor fascia detailing, and broad overhangs for weather protection.
Built on concrete piers with integrated stairs, it can serve as a permanent tent shelter, open-air pavilion, or a small four-season cabin with minimal adaptation.
Though the full version wasn’t built due to time and cost, several simplified versions were completed on-site. The concept remains a durable, modular base for future off-grid builds — crafted for all-season use and longevity.
